My name is Falohun Itunuoluwa Seun and I am the Administrator of Steve-Unic Academy
I studied Marine Biology In school
And just like you will ask, Where will someone that studied Marine Biology eventually work especially in Nigeria
Yes
So getting a Job was pretty tough
However
There is a major skill I got from my mother Pastor Mrs O.M Falohun
Who is the founder of Steve Unic Academy and here is her picture below
My mother is a Book Worm
she has over 3000 books in her room and from her Library I could build a personal Library of 150 books
and this really helped me a great deal
I developed the Love for knowledge
It was so evident that I went about training schools and everywhere the need to read
As I grew older and I wanted to settle down
I needed to increase my income, and I knew that to increase your income you needed to have a skill that everybody is willing to pay for
I got this from reading my mothers books
from there
I fell in love with ICT
and I learnt skills in ICT
Now I Manage my mother’s school and also Have a consulting company and a software marketing company
Even though I studied Marine Biology which is not relevant to the Nigerian Market
I am never in lack of finances to take care of my family
So I took over the Total Administration of my mother’s school to make it 21st century
I immediately came in and crystalized some skills our unique learners must have from Enrolment to Graduation
- A clear Ability to Read at a very young age
- Ability to express themselves in front of anyone they find themselves
- Ability to use the computers effectively to write exams, design websites, design graphics, and search for Relevant Information, I built a unique curriculum for that from nursery to basic 6
- The need to be able to use their analytical memory through solving complex problems and this is assisted through some selective games we have put in place
- Using consistent Internal and external competition to measure our abilities with the rest of the world
